We had a telephone call from a woman who required to learn where her husband was. He had left her along with the young children but had not given her a forwarding address. She told us that despite the fact that he came to see their young children once a week he didn’t give her any dollars for them and with no an address for him she could not give his particulars to the CSA. He had changed his job when he left and she did not know exactly where he was operating now. The only time she knew where he was was when he came to see the young children.
We decided that to find out where he was living and operating we must fit a tracking device to his vehicle. This would tell us exactly where he was staying and where he was operating. The auto belonged to our client so we could fit the device when he next came to check out the young children. We suggested the device must stay on the auto for two weeks. This would guarantee a superb pattern of movements from the auto.
We identified the data within the first week and using a few follow up telephone calls confirmed the data was right. We removed the device soon after two weeks and our client could give the data towards the CSA. Our client then decided she wanted to know if he was cohabitating with one more woman. We carried out surveillance on the property address we had identified for him. Soon after three sessions of six hour slots we had adequate evidence of cohabitation for our client to take to her solicitor.
We have considering that identified out that she has filed for divorce on the ground of adultery and that he left her for this new woman. He has had to pay all of the arrears from the CSA.
